Arsenal launches global membership drive
Arsenal has launched a global direct marketing campaign to drive membership renewal.

Cesc Fabregas
The “Wherever. Forever Arsenal” campaign, created by design agency Clinic, aims to bolster the club’s international support by including travel-related merchandise.
The club has sent 100,000 membership welcome packs to its global and UK fan base.
Packs include branded wash bags, luggage tags and passport holders as well as a CD-ROM containing renewal information, interactive advertising, video and a bespoke Arsenal FC e-zine.
Andy Hunns, Creative Director at Clinic, says the pack reflects”the cosmopolitan aspects of Arsenal’s squad and fanbase”.
The North London club, captained by Cesc Fabregas (pictured) is believed to be looking at its sponsorship deals to boost revenues.
Ivan Gazidis, the club’s chief executive, is reportedly considering renegotiating the club’s shirt sponsorship deal with Emirates and kit deal with Nike.
Clinic has a number of football clients including the Barclays Premier League, BSkyB, and The Football Association.

That is a perfect idea. We diehards in Africa are waiting to be part of the campaign enthusiastically.

It is extraordinary the speed at which Arsenal is moving in terms of marketing since the new marketing team moved in at the start of the year.
They have sadly lost Arsenal TV with the end of Setanta but their own line station goes from strength to strength and there is a really positive feel in terms of transforming the stadium into something the supporters relish.
There's regular discussions on all things Arsenal at www.blog.emiratesstadium.info - its not the official site, but it is certainly lively and entertaining
