Glide Technologies, the provider of web-based PR software and online media centres for the PR and communications industry, is holding a free search engine optimisation (SEO) and online PR workshop on Thursday 11th March, from 8.00am to 10.30am at CIPR in London as part of their Communications Leaders Best Practice series of events.

Glide Technologies has invited digital PR specialist Andrew Smith, Director of Escherman and SEO pioneer Grant Whiteside, Technical Director at Ambergreen Internet Marketing to provide expert insight on how to make SEO an effective part of PR and communications strategies.

To help its clients achieve better SEO rankings, Glide has also recently launched new SEO features including: User friendly URL’s for each press release Population of the title tag via the press release title Population of the meta description using the summary text of the press release Incorporation of individual keywords for each release using the keyword meta tag

“To most PR professionals, search engine optimisation remains something of a dark art and this session aims to change that. This workshop will provide practical examples of how search and PR can work together” says Sam Phillips, CEO of Glide. Spaces are free but limited and there will be a complimentary breakfast available.
