London can do without another free newspaper
A new free London newspaper would not be welcomed by more than two thirds of voters in the latest MarketingWeek.co.uk poll.

Global Publishing Group has just unveiled plans for The London Weekly, a title it says will launch on 1 February with a distribution of 250,000 copies every Friday and Saturday.
But 67% of respondents to MarketingWeek.co.uk’s poll said that London doesn’t need another free newspaper.
However, The London Weekly team argues that it can succeed by involving its readership in generating content and advertisers should be able to take advantage of a “Friday feeling” when commuters are likely to be more receptive to advertising or ad features.
Do you think London needs another free newspaper to fill the gap left by the demise of London Lite and thelondonpaper?
