Marmite chocolate bar to be divisive Christmas treat
Marmite is to launch a Marmite-flavoured chocolate bar next month as part of its Christmas gifting range.

Under the brand Very Peculiar Milk Chocolate Bar By Marmite, the product will be stocked in retail chains such as BHS, Debenhams and Robert Dyas from 4 October.
The 100g bar blends creamy milk chocolate “with a hint of the yeasty spread”, says the company. It ha s suggested retail price of £3.
Other Marmite-themed gifts include A Marmite Cheese Board Dome complete with wooden handled cheese tools and a homemade brew from a Marmite teapot and mug.
Marmite launched a marketing campaign ahead of the general election that introduced two political parties, the Love Party and the Hate Party.
The brand also introduced a limited edition ’black label’ version aimed at hardcore fans under the name Marmite XO in March.

I cannot wait to try this. I actually think it'll be lovely. There's a chocolatier called Paul A Young who has made marmite chocolate and truffles before and they have really worked. But then I'm a huge Marmite lover...

well I know that Chilli chocolate is available and popular so why not? They wouldn't release it if tests hadn't shown that Marmite lovers like it in choc. I think the two flavours might work like sweet & sour works.
You can't knock it 'till you've tried it!
