Canon lauches digital screen camera campaign
Canon is launching a digital screen campaign that will show a freerunner jumping from screen to screen. The ads will support the launch of the Canon EOS 450d camera.
The footage was filmed at an experiential event, called Let's Play, held by Canon earlier this month. The event was recorded in high definition and used to produce a sequence of the freerunner in an urban landscape. At one point he grabs a Canon camera to film a football player performing ball tricks.
The work, which has been created by Grand Visual and BJK&E, will run across CBS Outdoor's digital escalator panels and Titan Outdoor's Transvision network from next week. The multi-screen execution designed for the digital escalator panels shows the freerunner jumping from screen to screen across five panels. The campaign was booked through Kinetic and planned by BKJ&E.
Grand Visual managing director Neil Morris says the digital outdoor campaign captures the "movement and exhilaration" of freerunning coupled with communicating the consistent performance and ease of use of the Canon digital camera.
