Nestle unveils 7m Aero campaign
Nestle’s £7m ad campaign for its chocolate bar Aero brand featuring skateboarding champion Bob Burnquist will launch tonight on C4.
The JWT created 60 second ad, called "feel the bubbles”, features the skater in action in San Jose, California and is shot by skateboarding cinematography specialist Ty Evans.
Burnquist, who has won several skating X-Games titles, is featured skating through chocolate coloured balloons to the soundtrack of the Jackson Five track ABC. The TV campaign is being supported by PR and retail sales promotions
The campaign aims to reposition the Aero brand to target a younger demographic of men and women.
The campaign is the first to emerge from Nestlé confectionery since Terri Tinella took over as UK marketing director for its confectionery division in January, following the promotion of David Rennie to managing director.
Tinella was previously communications vice president at Nestle Canada.
