The energy supplier will host football roadshows to get families involved in the ’No Power Hour’ campaign in four UK cities later this month.

Npower is hoping to encourage families to have fun for an hour without using any electricity.

Visitors will join in a warm up session, goal shooting skills, dribbling tips, keepy up practice and a ball control assault course.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge will be the team manager at the football-focused road show taking place in Birmingham and Leeds on the weekend of 12 and 13 June and again in Newcastle and Nottingham on 19 and 20 June.

Npower is the title sponsor of the Football League and an Official Supporter of England’s Back the Bid campaign to host the FIFA World Cup in 2018.

Morgan will be joined by John Farnworth, the world freestyle champion, who will be giving advice to children and families at the football roadshows.

  • What a great idea, maybe everyone could syncronise the no power hour for a saturday when one of Piers Morgans shows is on.... maybe it should be extended to everytime he is on the TV!
