TomTom chief marketer Batchelor departs
TomTom marketing director Alex Batchelor has left the sat-nav manufacturer, less than a year after moving into the role.

He finished up at the end of last month and it is not known if he has a job to go to.
Prior to TomTom Batchelor was marketing director at Royal Mail. He left that role in the middle of last year following a restructure of the marketing team.
Batchelor had been in the position for three years. His departure came about a month before group strategy director Alex Smith took over as strategy and commercial director.
A TomTom spokesman says his replacement is yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, last month the sat-nav manufacturer announced that Homer Simpson’s voice would be made available as an optional new voice for TomTom satellite navigation systems.
The voice of The Simpsons’ character is now available for download from the TomTom website in 14 countries including the UK.
Last year, TomTom signed a deal with Vodafone to offer a real-time traffic information service, based on data collected by an integrated SIM card.
