  • Be obsessed with understanding and improving the detail of the whole consumer experience
  • Understand the business model and how commercial value is created
  • Focus on evaluating how well you are creating value for consumers and the business
  • Build competitive edge by investing in the skills of other people

  • I believe marketing has reached a peripheral and is heading in another direction completely. As stated in one of the pieces spreading a global word and a way of thinking is one of the biggest challenges marketeers face, especially in service sector orientated countries. However with advances in technology and a changed approached towards communication, having a global message has suddenly become easier. Therefore, keep up-to-date with your changing surroundings and make it your 'job' to be in the know!
