2013: What marketers can expect from law makers

Comment

With respect to your report on rules governing advertising cosmetic surgery, BAAPS is extreme. Independent Healthcare AdvisoryServices, the trade body for cosmetic major providers, believes that advertising is necessary if the public is to be fully informed. We issue guidelines to our Members so that their marketing is ethical and safe. IHAS advises that all advertisements for cosmetic surgery procedures should conform to the standards and codes of practice set out in The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) Committee on Advertising Practice (CAP) Code - CAP Code; and Good Medical Practice in Cosmetic Surgery 2011 published by IHAS.
