The interesting issue in this article is that it covers two extremes but nothing in between. Creating brand loyalty is about an in-depth knowledge of branding & marketing. I acknowledge that it is decreasing but the answer can not only be price promotions, discussed in the rest of the article. So value should be seen by marketeers as creating brand value and brand preference initially, then asking the right price for it.
