Barclaycard Freedom launches biggest ever promotion

Barclaycard Freedom, the credit card’s loyalty scheme, is launching its biggest ever promotion to drive shopper numbers and spend at its partner retailers.
Barclaycard holders will receive 10% reward money for every purchase at participating retailers from Thursday (7 July) until 10 July.
Typically cardholders earn 1% cashback on purchases.
Retailers signed up to the Barclaycard Freedom programme include Pizza Express, Goldsmiths and Shell.
The Freedom programme launched 15 months ago and was designed as a loyalty scheme to help shoppers earn rewards in pounds, not points.
Earlier this year, Barclaycard Freedom revealed that it hoped to boost take up numbers by 50% to 1.5 million this year.
