Kelly Brook lends glamour to LG handset

LG Electronics (LG) has signed a deal with model and TV personality Kelly Brook to be the face of the LG Optimus One handset, the company’s new smartphone.
The company says that Brook’s hectic lifestyle makes her “an ideal ambassador” for the LG Optimus One and the handset design fits with Kelly’s glamorous image.
Alex Windle, head of marketing at LG’s mobile division says: “The phone represents the smart choice for anyone who has to maintain a busy lifestyle and Kelly really embodies that. It is accessible and affordable with many apps to entertain and plan your life.”
The LG Optimus One runs on Android 2.2, which features functionality such as Google Mobile services. It is available on contract starting at £20 per month.
